The Seattle Kraken debuted a Pride-themed rainbow logo six months before typical June celebrations, generating divided responses from hockey fans on social media.
The Carolina Hurricanes and Seattle Kraken hit the ice in NHL action at Lenovo Center on Saturday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. ET. The game airs on ESPN+. Seattle played at home in its last game on Jan. 8, and lost 3-2 in overtime against the Minnesota Wild.

The Wild instead played the game and took two points. The only incident was a collision in the third period between Foligno and Dunn. The defenseman took an exaggerated tumble to the ice, so the refs let the initial hit by Foligno and what looked like an ensuing dive go.
