In a message to customers, DTE said: “Strong winds with gusts up to 60 mph are expected across Michigan today and may cause power outages. Our Storm Response Teams are ready to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. Please be safe and remember to stay at least 25 feet from any downed power lines — assume they are live and dangerous."

Overnight storm knocks down power lines, topples trees across Mid-South
The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office reported several trees down on county roadways overnight, including Highway 60, Highway 6 West and County Roads 202, 321, 103 and 376. The Oxford Police Department said some city residents were without power and posted a photo showing snapped utility poles.
Freezing rain from a winter storm resulted in thousands of power outages, and slick driving conditions in central and northern New Hampshire on Monday. Utility line crews worked overnight to restore service to tens of thousands of customers. By Tuesday morning, the estimated number of outages fell below 3,000.
