More than 150,000 Verizon customers are reporting outages on Wednesday, Jan. 14, according to Downdetector. As of 12:37 p.m. ET, roughly 157,596 customers have reported outages to the real-time tracking website.

Nearly 200,000 users reported their service being disrupted on Wednesday, according to Downdetector, with reports flooding in around noon. A majority of the issues were reported to be related to mobile phone connectivity, at 61%, followed by users having no signal, at 35%, and mobile internet disruptions, at 4%.
Telecom operator Verizon Communications' network was down for tens of thousands of users in the U.S. on Wednesday, according to outage tracking website Downdetector.com. Verizon said it was aware of the issue and that its engineers are working to identify and solve it.
There were more than 130,000 incidents of people reporting issues with Verizon's services around 1:11 pm ET, according to Downdetector.
Verizon said on Wednesday that it was working to restore its mobile and data services, as more than 170,000 users reported outages to the website Downdetector, which tracks user reports of service disruptions. That number had dropped to about 100,000 by 2 p.m. Eastern.
